My Dental Coach: Open Wide When You Glide!
Glide When You Open Wide! Try this little exercise. Place your fingers in front of your ears while making grinding movements with your teeth or when yawning. You should feel the jaw joints moving easily and quietly. However, audible clicking or popping noises may indicate that the TMJ (temporomandibular joints) are not functioning normally. Since the jaw joint sits right in front of the near, any problems with this joint area may also affect the ears, eyes and sinuses. Perhaps this may explain all those headaches you have been getting when you wake up in the morning! Check it out with your dentist. Hope that helps. ***************** To view our archived tips: www.oramedica.com/archivedtips.html ***************** Want to help lower your healthcare costs?
