The Personal TMJ Assessment

You can choose to have your client participate first in the TMJ Pre-Screen or proceed directly to the TMJ Assessment, which is a thorough evaluation of the personal history and clinical TMJ, muscle, cranial nerve, and dental,evaluation of the client.

The TMJ Assessment includes a review of the client's dental and medical records including injury reports, hospital admissions reports and police and ambulance records, relevant diagnostic tests and x-rays, and physician and other therapy provider progress notes.
A comprehensive history with a series of questions have been developed by OraMedica’s dental experts that comprise a “Legal TMJ Questionnaire” which relate the symptoms and complaints, while revealing underlying factors that contribute to your client's injuries.
A detailed analysis and report follows with relevant findings.
The dental legal consultants will perform, in your office an interview and TMJ examination of your client.

By combining the questionaire and in-office examination, the dental legal consultants will be able to provide you with the most thorough evaluation of your client's claim of TMJ injury. This is timely followed by a written report of detailed objective findings, recommendations, and an opinion of the merits of your case for TMJ related damages.
